VirtualSE™ - Cloud-based Sales Engineering Support

The Sales Engineer, or SE, fulfills a critical role in the complex B2B sale. But what if your organization can't afford this important resource? Many technology vendors may not be able to commit to supporting their sales team with full time pre-sales engineering resources.

VirtualSE™ Services:

  • Technical presentations. A qualified Straightline Virtual SE will present the vendor solution and provide a live demonstration where possible. Our SE are experienced presenters and familiar with online presentation tools such as Cisco Webex and GoToMeeting. We will participate in product and sales training sessions and conduct our own due diligence and bench time in order to master the solution.

  • RFP response. Generating a technical RFP response in a timely fashion can bring many sales organizations to their knees. The sales reps don't have the bandwidth, marketing is overloaded, and the SE team is completely under water on other projects and deals. Straightline's Virtual SE team will facilitate and write a winning RFP response, helping your company generate new business while preserving your existing resources.

  • Evaluation Support. Client evaluations often need a helping hand. We'll provide evaluation support before, during and after the trial has completed.

  • Implementation. No vendor can afford to be short on implementation resources. We'll provide a fully-trained SE, either virtually or on site, to work with the vendor client to ensure a smooth deployment.

  • Product Training. Straightline will work with product management, engineering or development to create and deliver sales-oriented product training. Developing product competencies helps sales contributors translate the usable benefits of technology solutions, setting expectations accurately for the prospect.   • Content Development. To complement product training, Straightline will develop and maintain technical presentation materials, FAQ and product knowledgebase. These materials will help maintain consistent technical product information in support of the sales teams efforts.
